On-Site: Introduction to MAT

**Due to the current pandemic, this event has been postponed until further notice. If you have purchased a ticket, our education team will be in contact with you about the new dates, otherwise you can reach out to them on**

This half day workshop aims to introduce participants to the MAT seating assessment. The workshop includes both theoretical and practical components aimed at providing therapists with foundation skills to appropriately assess and guide the clinical reasoning process for postural and mobility needs.

The focus will be on reducible/flexible postural assessment and identification of potential equipment parameters to enable appropriate trial set up.

Attendees are encouraged to wear loose and comfortable clothing as there will be lots of moving and positioning throughout the day. You are welcome to bring along a yoga mat or towel to lie on as we will be practising throughout the session. A light lunch will be provided to participants and a certificate of attendance for CPD hours will be accessible to those who attend.

Dietary requirements: This session includes a light lunch. Please advise of any dietary requirements via email to at least 48 hours prior to the event.
