“In January 1980 I was a passenger in a vehicle that went over a cliff, resulting in a Spinal Cord Injury at T5 level. On that day my whole life changed, and I began to learn a new way to live. Over the past 41 years I have lived a full life, including sports, work, marriage, travel, and community participation. I continue to learn and adapt to life as a wheelchair user. In this webinar, I hope to share some of my story, lessons learnt about pressure care, shoulder preservation, travel and some of the challenges of ageing as a wheelchair user. “– Mal Turnbull.
